Art of Praise

Last night the Tue/Thu Pre-School classes had their Art/Music Program! My co-teacher was out of town, so I had to direct the kids solo! The kids did 3 praise songs and did WONDERFUL! The last song was "Deep and Wide" and they were singing so loud and pretty that by the end, I was teary-eyed with JOY! There is something about 2-4 year old children singing songs of worship that just fills your heart with nothing but REJOICE! Many were dressed in cute dresses and shoes, and suit jackets and ties! Wayne came to support me and he was sweet enough to take some pictures too, but I won't post them publicly on here!
In the chapel and down one of the hallways there were art pieces posted that the kids had done as well. They were mounted on black paper, with their name, what it was, the medium and the date! Very "museum-ish"!!! All of them were laminated too so it would last longer for the parent's! I thought it was so neat, and I know the kids loved showing them to their parent's!

We have one more program in May, and my co-teacher and I are already thinking of ideas for it!
