This Tues. it will be 5 weeks since my D and C. I have been getting better emotionally, but I won't lie. There are sometimes "triggers" that will cause me to have that stomach sinking feeling, or to get teary. A very close friend of mine said that "you know you are healing when you don't think about it first thing when you wake up everyday..."....I think I am getting to that point.
Yes, I am impatient that my cycle has not shown up yet, but I know in due time it will (or with meds) it will. I have NO control over it, and I have to accept the fact that this body has a mind of it's own, even if I don't like it!
Now on to some more cheery things!
My hubby got me Maroon 5 tickets!!!!!!!! I am so super excited, and my friend from Austin is coming up here to go with me! It is March 21st and honestly, it seems so far away! It is my Christmas present, so Merry Early Christmas to me!! :)
Today I completed Day one WEEK 2 of Couch to 5k!!!!! Huge accomplishment for me, and it has not been easy, but I have pushed through. My friend and I are doing it together, and even though I am slow, she still pushes me the whole 30 minutes! I am signing up this week to do the Jingle Bell Run 5k that is on Dec. 19th! I have never ran a race in my life, but at 36, I can sure start! :)
I really want to push myself even after the 19th, to have more goals, and eventually I would love to run a Half Marathon! :)...But let me just get through the Jingle Bell Run first! :0
Only two weeks of school until my week break at Thanksgiving, and then, only 2 full weeks, and then Finals! I can see my Holiday Break on the horizon!
