Until Further Notice..

We are taking a break from our fertility journey...I got my cycle this week, so the second round of Clomid did not work..:(    I was pretty upset about it, but I am better now.  Better because of my FAITH and my friends, and hubby.  Yes, it still hurts, but as each day passes, it gets better.

We met with my RE Dr. yesterday, and we are leaning towards doing Clomid with IUI.  If you don't know what IUI is, it is the next step before IVF. Basically, after I get my positive OPK test, we go in, Wayne does "his business", they wash the sperm and with a catheter they inject his sperm in to my cervix. They will be in the right area waiting for the egg to arrive. It helps take the pressure off us as far as "timing", etc.

We will not do this next step till Oct. or Nov, as we need to save the money up for it. We get a good discount as it is normally like 995, but with my teacher discount it will be like 875.  

We could just do another round of monitored clomid, but I would rather spend the money on the IUI, rather than spend 400 on just clomid and good timing and it fail, and then we still have to do IUI....

From now until then, yes we will "try", but I don't know that I will ovulate w/o the Clomid...we shall see!

So until further notice..we are taking a break..but not permanently..:)
