I started my training this week for the ROCK program in Rockwall ISD! I am so blessed to be back in a school district and I can't wait to work ELEM kids! The after-school program is not just a "daycare" or babysitting job! There is a schedule that is followed, and there is academic enrichment for all the kids! Spanish, fine arts, math/science, and language arts! It is designed to be fun, but engaging for the kids!
I will have a group of kids that I get to know, and will be with all of them the whole afternoon! I have gotten to spend a little time with my co-workers and they are going to be AWESOME!
This is year is going to ROCK!
