We went to my in-laws for Thanksgiving and had a really good time! We got there Thursday around noon and got home today around five. Wayne was on-call and he didn't get paged, which was a blessing! Our great-nephew is crawling all over the place (Christopher is 8 months) and Emma ( our great-niece) is 4 and just gets bigger and SMARTER every time we see her! She played Yahtzee with her Granny, Nan, and I and was so funny shaking up those dice! We really do need a recorder for the things she says! Thursday night after everyone left, she fell asleep in Wayne's lap!! It was SO SWEET!

Friday we just went and diddled around town and then last night we took Emma to the Walk of Lights in Marble Falls. You walk thru this beautiful display of Christmas lights by the water, and it is free, but you can make a donation which we did!
I am so thankful for my husband, both families, my "family of friends", my best friend who is truly my sister, and for the Lord who gives me strength when I need it the most. This past year has not been the easiest, but it is now starting to look up, and I have all the above to thank for that.
Here are some pics from Burnet Square, the Walk of Lights, and the Burnet Park!
